The Bargain Spot has limited hours. Check our Facebook page for more info on open hours.
The Chamber’s most effective fundraiser is The Bargain Spot. Inside the Chamber building at 503 Aller Street, across from the Edgerton City Park, The Bargain Spot accepts donations of gently-used items still in usable condition, and resells them at a fraction of what they would cost new. The inventory varies, based on donations received, but may include anything from surplus building and electrical supplies, to toys, garden tools and housewares. Proceeds from The Bargain Spot are used to support the Chamber and maintain their facility.
The Bargain Spot offers a host of advantages for the community:
Volunteers are needed to sort, price and stock donations. Volunteers are also needed during hours of operation to assist those who visit.
Recycle and Save Gas
Items may be donated by contacting Stephanie Wilcoxson at 816-596-6368 or email (email@example.com). This prevents area residents from having to drive to the city to drop off items for donations. (Large furniture is not accepted, due to limited space. Some items may be accepted on a case-by-case basis.)
Save Money and Help Local Economy
By shopping at The Bargain Spot first, area residents can often find the items they need at a fraction of the cost they would otherwise pay. Money used to purchase items at The Bargain Spot benefits the local economy.
Support Local Organizations, Businesses, and Activities
Proceeds from The Bargain Spot are funneled back into Chamber-sponsored activities that support the community and the members of the Chamber.
